WILLOWRIDGE SOCCER PROGRAM - CALGARY ALBERTA

It is that time of year again to get ready to head to the great outdoors! CMSA requires WR-C to declare our age groups, levels of play and teams by March 23rd. We will be starting the evaluation process on March 12th indoors.

WillowRidge Soccer and Carburn Sports (WR-C) have formed a community partnership and support each others programs, thus your team may be a blend of kids from each of these communities and play in either community. CMSA has eliminated Premier and Comp A/B. Levels of play are now Tier I to Tier VI and U10 Tier A, B and C.

Evaluations registrations will take place 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start. Please ensure players come dressed in soccer shorts, t-shirt, shinpads, socks and bring dry indoor soccer shoes/runners, as well as a labelled water bottle.

The attached schedule will show all age groups schedules and locations. Please note further evaluations may be required to place your child on a "like skilled" and "like minded" team. You will be notified by email and the additional evaluation info will be posted on both websites: www.carburnsports.ca and www.wrcsoccer.com

The Soccer Committee made up of representatives of both programs reserves the right to move a player upon observations in any preseason training which may occur. .

We require Age Group Coordinators for Bu10, Bu12 and GU10. In order for the evaluations to run smoothly, the information be accurate and timely, these positions must be filled immediately. Volunteers should be well organized, able to work with others and able to use computer applications including email, Word and Excel.
